Real pit barbecue, since 1978.

Same pits. Same family. 48 years.

48 years of the long way.

The pits were lit in 1978 and have not really gone out since. Everything on the menu still starts with wood, time, and somebody watching the fire.

We used David’s BBQ to cater our wedding but to our surprise they do so much more than that! They bring in decor and set everything up for you, plus everyone was raving about how good the food was. Bobby and his team were phenomenal and it was 1000% the right choice for our wedding.

The OG BBQ joint in G'ville! Awesome BBQ and just-as-good breakfast (a pre-tailgate must). I can't count the times I ate here in ~30 years living in G'ville, and I go (at least once) every time I return. Every. Single. Time.

We used David's to cater and provide decor for our wedding in October 2024 and we could not have asked for a better experience. Bobby was fantastic to work with and he worked tirelessly to accommodate any food or decor needs we had. Nothing at our wedding got more compliments than the food.

The same pits cater weddings.

Carving stations, a warehouse of decor, a full bar, and a team that runs the day. Same roots, dressed for the occasion.

Sage green tablescape with hydrangeas and cut crystal
